The statue of Iuliu Maniu, a famous Romanian politician, more than one time Prime Minister of Romania and President of the historical National-Peasant Party, who died imprisoned in 1953, stays today on the place ( The Revolution Square ) where Nicolae Ceausescu held his last speech in December 1989 ( in the background you can see the very well known balcony ! ).
