Years ago, when someone wanted to take a walk in Bucharest and do window-shopping too, the best choice was Calea Victoriei (Victory Road) .

Nowadays it’s not the same thing – many shpos closed their doors because of the too higher rents they have to pay, the road is too crowded with cars ( this photo was taken on a Sunday morning that’s why the cars are missing; it’s not the same situation during week or in the afternoons and evenings) and doesn’t offer you a suitable environment for taking a walk on foot.
